Malaria is still a public health problem in the world, including Indonesia. Positive deviation behavior one of factors that influence incidence malaria. So this study aims to determine effect positive on malaria Jayapura City. This community service was carried out Mandala Village area, City, Papua Province. The method uses Community Empowerment using Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Sampling Exautive sampling (sampling technique when all members population are used as samples). data collected will be analyzed SPSS version 21.0. results quantitative analysis showed most influential factor (p=0.000). qualitative show behaviors prevent mosquito nets sleeping, wearing long sleeves working and going at night, burning trash coconut belts. approach can an effort control through active role cadres or leaders.
